Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban is probably the worst Harry Potter film delivered. This third instalment, which i used to believe would be impressive, was an utter disappointment. The book was definitely much more interesting than the film.
Harry Potter PoA film was a rush! How is it possible to squeeze a 300 over paged story into a 2h film? Ridikkulus rite?!
Firstly, the Aunt Marge part was boring. Totally. I mean, Harry Potter could have shown more anger! He was just quietly standing at a corner, raging. In the book, he did express much more anger than that! The knight bus was not nice. Did not leave a realli huge impact on mi. Seriously, at this point of time, I realli wonder if i did see the knight bus. The time allocated was too short! Anywae, I know Richard Harris has passed away, but this doesn't mean that the new Dumbledore should be so muggle-like! He is supposed to be majestic! But the way he talks is so normal! Kind of obvious its the muggle way of talking. AND WHERE ARE THE ROBES!? How come the students are running about in muggle clothes and the explanation is not even mentioned in the film by anyone!? How come Hermoine din say anything? I mean she does muggle studies! Sirius did not seem as scary as described in the book. Din realli bring out the hate in me when i first read the book. The director Alfonso wadeva his name is did not make the film CLIMAX-ic enough! It's totally anti climax! Name me a part i got scared! NONE! I never got shocked or anything. WEll, except for the stupid Trilony part but that's lyk din realli hit mi hard!? Peter Pettigrew did not seem so hateful in the movie than in the story. Funny how come i get more feeling when i read the words than i look at the screen and watch em. The part in the Shrieking Shack, Lupin and Sirius did not amek it clear that Peter was the bad guy! HEY DIRECTOR NOT EVERYONE READ THE STORY OK! And where is the fcukin QUIDDITCH CUP? That's lyk, the best and most anticipated part in the book and it is not even filmed? WTF?! HelloO? This is the QUIDDITCH CUP WHERE GRYFFINDOR WON!? Is the director some sort of gryffindor hater? Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban is supposed to be a touching story. Jame's past was supposed to be revealed but NONE of it was! The entire movie was lyk a jigsaw puzzle undone! Few pieces fixed together but not at the appropriate place. And the firebolt wasn't supposed to be given at the end! Lupin was supposed to have long hair right!?
All right. It wasn't so bad. There were good parts too. Like the time turning part, at least it was kind of complete and understandable (more easier to picture than in the book). And the part where Sirius bade Harry farewell? That was the most touching part.
Hope that the 4th movie would be much nicer and easier to the eye! The PoA director Alfonso *wadeva his surname is* sucks! I dun understand why he is turning the film in to a muggle film? Mcgonnagal doesnt speak as shaky as last time anymore. She is no longer the confidante of Dumbledore. Hey HELO!? THIS IS SUPPOSED TO BE A MAGICAL FILM!?
Er.. I think this movie is onli worth 2 stars. Confessions of the Teenage Drama queen was rated one star in Today newspaper. I think if i were that strict, this movie would be rated nothing at all.
